my internet traffic

my current internet provider minet.sk gave me 128kbps bandwidth on the beginning. oh, that was enough. i was never some kinda massdownloader so i was satisfied, but they doubled it few months later and now it's 512kbps for the same price. well, it's the great thing and lot of programs use the connection, because this bandwith is more than good, but i have one small problem. when i'm not downloading nothing at all, i see the traffic on my graph anyway. i thought it's spyware or similar shit or some google app or so, but i have so much things installed that's impossible to find out what's going on. sometimes it happen just when i'm idle... i tried top antispyware stuff and i still feel it and it makes me flustered. well, it's none of my business if my provider won't say me "hey, what are you doin'?"; it's impossible. i am always on the top of the traffic, always number 1. i can't go above. (oh, why i wrote such boring sentences?)
