god, help me uninstall norton antivirus 2005!

i had some trial version preinstalled on my new laptop, so i wanted to try it. i was also thinking about its registering, because it worked good, but after 5 weeks of using it failed by fighting with some massmailer, which damaged it pretty much. it was unable to update it so i wanted to uninstall it, but there were still some fragments and installing of newer version was never completed because of that. it's distrubing me two times at start-up and by checking e-mails with outlook. i tried registry cleaners and some system tuners, but still without success. i think i'll never install anything from symantec, sorry.
